Elliptical hoop

Postby hailstop » Fri Apr 01, 2016 4:44 pm

Heather,

I'm curious, with the elliptical hoop, am I right in thinking that with it being 126 inches in circumference, which is the same as the 1858 Round Cage, it actually looks quite a bit bigger since most of that circumference goes towards the back?

(I kinda wonder what the 'equivalent' size would be if it was 'round')

Yes, it really looks pretty huge on people, due to the fact it is all the rear, rather than evenly spaces around you.

The round cage really doesn't look all the big, due to the overall shape being more of a pagoda shape, rather than a bell shape like the Walking Cage. The Walking cage it larger at the hips, and narrower at the hem, but the overall impression is that it is a larger hoop than the round one. I am sure the "bustle" effect on the Elliptical helps in the same way, to make it look larger, too.
