New Ballgown

Thank you for all the compliments everyone. I really love how the ball gown turned out.
I'm not sure how often I'll get to wear it but I wanted it so I made it . It's funny, I keep making bustle gowns but really don't have anywhere to wear them to. If anyone has any ideas near Tucson, Az I would be happy to hear them. It gives me an excuse to make even more!
Cindy, the flowers are lightly tacked on so they should be pretty easy to remove so I can clean the gown, though I have to admit that I don't relish the idea of sewing them back on.

So pretty! That lace is gorgeous. I love that you made a new petticoat for it. That needs to be my new years resolution, make a new petticoat for every dress and give my poor old one a break.
